Military Prayer Wall

In an effort to support and pray for those serving in the military, we've created the Military Prayer Wall. Located in the Worship Center lobby, the Military Prayer Wall displays cards with names and photos of military personnel, and there's room for more!

Church members and visitors are urged to visit the wall, read the information, and then take a wallet-sized, laminated card from the display. These small cards are miniatures of the larger information cards that make up the prayer wall. Each small card is a reminder to pray daily for that person's safety, spiritual well-being and courage. Those who will commit to pray are urged to take a card featuring someone they don't know, on the assumption that they're already praying for those they do know.

This effort will continue even after the war in Iraq is officially over, and through the time the new government is being established. The people of First Baptist Church count it an honor to pray for those in the military.Thank you for allowing us the privilege of praying for your loved one during this difficult time.

Please email us with as much of this information as you know.
